Lara Unland is a research assistant at the Department of Political Theory and History of Ideas of Prof Dr Dirk Jörke. She has been working as a doctoral candidate in the DFG Research Training Group ‘Standards of Governance’ since 2025. She is currently researching the legitimacy and independence of central banks and the influence of technocratic monetary policy on modern societies.
