Professor Amy A. Quark joins the DFG Research Training Group ‘Standards of Governance’ as a Mercator Fellow

Professor Amy A. Quark (aaquark@wm.edu) from William & Mary, a state university in Williamsburg, Virginia, which is the second oldest institution of higher learning in America, chartered in 1693, will visit the DFG Research Training Group ‘Standards of Governance’ in Frankfurt am Main and Darmstadt as a Mercator Fellow between 27 May and 17 June 2024.

Amy A. Quark is Professor of Sociology and her research interests include socio-economic change, political economy, globalisation, global inequalities and governance and regulation.

During her stay in Germany, Professor Quark will give a lecture on 4 June as part of the Research Training Group’s colloquium and will assist all Fellows with their individual research projects throughout her stay.

Mercator Fellows are researchers from abroad who maintain intensive contact with the DFG Research Training Group ‘Standards of Governance’ over a longer period of time, facilitating international exchange and increasing its international visibility.
